Dean was peacefully reunited with his loving wife Bonnie on Friday, July 17, 2020.

Dean was born in Sulphur, Oklahoma on January 17, 1936 to parents Bay & Alta Sims. To all that knew Dean he was a unique, witty, and passionately loving man. He touched the lives of all who knew him.

Dean was a loyal, hard-working man that took providing for his family seriously.

Dean and Bonnie were joined in marriage on July 15, 1983 in Hobbs, NM. They lived a beautiful life full of love and laughter. They enjoyed playing games, loving, and caring for their beloved bulldogs, and of course the company of all their family and friends until her death on July 25, 2017.

His memory will be cherished and kept alive by his sister Patsy Guthrie, brother Johnny Sims and wife Vicki, children Sherrie Jenkins and husband Howard, Penny Sims, and Quinton Graham. Grandchildren: Shane Sims, Shawndrea Cikalo and husband Brian, Michael Dean Sims II, Crystal Markgraf, Kimberly Wilson, and husband Chris, Taylor Dial and husband Erin, Korey Graham, 15 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandsons, and many nieces and nephews.

Dean was preceded in death by his precious wife Bonnie, brother Eddie Bay Sims, sisters Mary Marshall and Georgia Baze, children, Michael Dean Sims, and Ronnie Graham.

The family wishes to specially honor his best friend Josh Garcia and his sweet family, Peggy Cook, Laquetta Bradshaw, Elite Home-health and his tender caregiver Claudia Velo.
