Elva Garcia Hernandez

Elva Garcia Hernandez was born on March 21, 1940, in Artesia, New Mexico.

Elva entered eternal rest on October 9, 2024. She leaves behind her 4 children, Debbie, Larry Jr., Jerry Lee and Saul Hernandez, 8 grandchildren, Ashley, Brittany, Jerrad, Zachary, Chelsye, Andrew, Taylor Faith and Kaitlyn, and 12 great-grandchildren, Ace, Tristian, Luke, Levi, Dawson, Noah, Silas, Benaiah, Avery Rose, Samuel, Aaron Casen and Ivy.

Elva loved her family. She served the Lord as a pastor's wife for several years and loved the Lord with her whole life. She was a good wife, an amazing mother and prayed fervently for her children and grandchildren. She called Hobbs her home but recently relocated to Lubbock, Texas for health reasons.

Our hearts feel the loss in a huge way, because no one can ever take the place of a mother. She was our loving mom, and we honor her and celebrate the gift that she was to us.

Resting in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, no more pain and no more sorrow.
