Ella Creed

Ella Jean Creed of Hobbs died Sunday, April 17, 2011, at her home. Ella was born on June 5, 1932, in Philadelphia, PA, to Oda L. and Bessie L. Majors Daves.

Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2011, in the Chapel of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home, with Steven Lord, Star Hospice Chaplain officiating.

Ella married Wayne C. Creed June 18, 1967, in Hobbs.

Survivors include husband, Dick Creed of the home two daughters, Vicki James of Liberal, KS, and Keitha Chenault of Hobbs three sons, Wayne Faulk of Las Cruces, NM, Lonnie Creed of Hobbs, NM, and Monty Creed of Albuquerque, NM. She also has 8 grandchildren and 9 greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
