alignjustifyFuneral services for Elizabeth Simon of Hobbs, New Mexico, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2009, at Grace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Robert Catherwood officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Garden Cemetery.

alignjustifyVisitation is 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2009, and 8-8:30 a.m. Wednesday.

alignjustifyArrangements are under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.

alignjustifyMs. Simon, 69, was born February 25, 1939, in New Braunfels, Texas. She died February 22, 2009, at Good Samaritan Village. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.

alignjustifySurvivors include a brother, William Bill Boerger of Hobbs, New Mexico; a sister, Erliene Shelton and husband Jerry of Hobbs, New Mexico; two nephews, Kevin Stephenson and wife Jennifer of Houston, Texas, and Daniel Haddock of Seguin, Texas; two nieces, Karen Walker and husband Terry of Hobbs, New Mexico, and Lisa Greenlee of Hobbs, New Mexico; a great-niece and great-nephew; and nine great-great nieces and nephews.

alignjustifyElizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Christopher and Ann Willamina Boerger; a sister, Anna Haddock; and a great-nephew, Scott Shelton.
