Elisa M. Juarez

Elisa Medina Juarez, 93, passed away on December 23rd, 2024, In Hobbs, New Mexico.

Elisa was born to Petra and Manuel Cantu on October 10, 1931. She married the love of her life, Ramon Juarez, on April 18, 1955, in Raymondville, Texas. Together, they shared sixty-seven wonderful years of marriage. Through their marriage, they were blessed with a son, Jaime Juarez, wife Delma Martinez-Juarez, grandson Jay Juarez, wife Jami Juarez, and great-grandsons Jax and Jayce.

She was the oldest of seven siblings and was preceded in death by Christopher Cantu and Sanjuana Montanez. She is survived by Manuel and Ernestina Cantu, Andress and Julia Cantu, Melchor and Dora Cantu, Blanca Gonzalez and Tino Ramos, Dolores Leal, and Jita Cantu.

Elisa was a loving wife, a caring mother, and a friend to all. She was a proud housewife who devoted her life to raising her kids and grandkids. She said, "I loved being a housewife and mom and visiting with friends and family." She also loved to serve the Lord and attended St. Helena and Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Hobbs, New Mexico. She will be greatly missed by many.
