Edward Young 68, of Abilene, Texas went home with his creator in Abilene, TX on Wednesday September 27, 2023. He was born in Marlin, TX on February 15, 1955.

Edward at the age of 17 went to serve for the United States Army where he obtained his GED. Edward served for 4 years and was Honorably Discharged and came home to begin his career as a mechanic.

Edward was the proud father of 4 children; sons Justin Bradley McClintick and Terrance Young daughter's; Valerie Dunlap and Jaycee Wilkerson. Edward had two grandchildren, Ayla Lawhon, Sullivan Bradley McClintick.

Edward enjoyed spending time with family and friends, he never met a stranger, and if you met him, you were his extended family. Edward enjoyed buying and building old vehicles and restoring them to look like new.

Edward was preceded in death his grandparents; Mary Etta Jackson (Momma Tot), Ethel Young, and Andrew Young, great-grand parents Harrison and Lillie Mosley, favorite uncles Chester Young, WD Mosley, Andrew Young (Uncle Sonny), William Benford, his aunts; Mattie B Young, Dorothy Nowlin and nephew; Nkosi Young

Edward is survived by his mother Mary Lee Young, father Eddie Earl Young, sisters Ethel Taylor (Keith) of Arizona, Mary Butcher (Bernard) of Lovington, NM, Debra Young (Freeman) of Hobbs, NM, and one brother William Young also of Hobbs, NM, his children Valerie, Jaycee (Robbie) Justin and two Grandchildren Ayla and Sullivan, and host of nieces, nephews and cousins and special friend Lynn Jackson and Jimmy Norton.
