Eddie Reynolds

Eddie Gene Reynolds, 76, passed away peacefully at home on January 30, 2023, in Hobbs, NM.

Eddie was born on May 24, 1946, to Howard Russell Reynolds and Goldie Mae Standridge in Hanna, Oklahoma. He was the second youngest of 9 children. He married his childhood friend, Linda Reynolds, on November 14th, 1965. They were happily married for 54 years. In his last days he enjoyed playing pool with his friends at the senior center, spending time with his family and could often be found working on cars with his grandson.

His surviving relatives are; his children, Mitzie and Danny Webb of Hobbs, NM, Dwayne and Gail Reynolds of Hobbs, NM, his grandchildren; Justin and Estrella Webb of Hobbs, NM, Braxton Reynolds of Hobbs, NM, Landrye and Zach Reber of Denver, CO, his great-grandchild Aria Webb of Hobbs, NM, his siblings; Sue Hunter of Hobbs, NM, Vada Shoemake of Lovington, NM, and Glen Reynolds of Burnet, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Russell Reynolds and Goldie Mae Standridge, his wife, Linda Reynolds, siblings, Jo Beth Shanholster, Jimmy Reynolds, Patsy Trammel, Anna Mae Boren, and Phyllis Kay Reynolds.

The family will be holding visitation and services at Faith Assembly of God Church, 2400 W. Millen, Hobbs, NM.  Tuesday, February 7th, visitation is from 5pm-7pm.   Wednesday, February 8th, lunch will be at 11:30am and Celebration of Life following at 2pm.
