Earnest Rash

Earnest L. Rash, 67, passed away Sept. 29, 2015 in Hobbs, NM. Earnest was born in Brownfield, TX to Thomas and Leona Rash on May 8, 1948.

He was the youngest of 3 Children. He married Vickie on Aug. 4, 1972.
He worked in oil service for over 51 years. His latest job was with Plains Pipeline. L.P, out of Eunice, NM as an oil gauger for over 25 years.

He was a member at Nadine Baptist Church, Hobbs, NM. He served as music director and other positions in the church. He believed in the Lord. He loved playing guitar and singing country gospel. Earnest liked to hunt, fish and travel.

He is survived by his wife Vickie Rash, his mother Leona Call of Hobbs, NM, brother, Calton and Joyce Rash, of Chep. VA, sister Betty Long, Jasper ALA, brother-in-law Dewayne Worthington, of Hobbs, NM and Ron and Melissa Worthington, of Aspermont, TX, and several nieces and nephews.
