Earnest Naegele

Funeral services for Ernie Naegele will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 19, 2011, at Taylor Memorial Baptist Church, with Pastor Dale Shook officiating. Interment will be after services at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Ernie died September 14, 2011, in Lubbock, Texas. Visitation will be 1 6 p.m. Sunday, September 18, with the family in attendance from 1 3 p.m. He was born November 22, 1941, in Lucas, Kansas, to Albert and Bernice Naegele. Ernie married Lynette Buell September 10, 1966, in Lubbock, TX.

He enjoyed traveling and golfing. Ernie would travel hundreds of miles just to play on a golf course. He went to Mesa, AZ, several times to play golf. By trade Ernie was a real estate appraiser. Ernie was appointed to the State of NM Real Estate Appraiser Board, was a member of the Appraisal Institute and was awarded prestigious SRA designation in 1990. He was a member of the Lions Club, Rotary, Moose Lodge and was a former Little League coach. He was of the Baptist faith.

Ernie is survived by his fiancee, Peggy Evans, of Hobbs three sons, Kevin Naegele, and wife Valerie, of Hobbs, Mike Naegele of Mayflower, AR, and Steve Naegele, and wife Cindy, of Tulsa, OK daughter, Pam Wilson, and husband Ron, of Lubbock, TX three brothers, Duane Naegele, and wife Neva, of Salina, KS, Leon Naegele of Maize, KS, and Bryce Naegele, and wife Delma, of Lucas, KS a sister, Bernita Daly, and husband Dan, of Mishawaka, IN his grandchildren, Aaron, Arick, Justin Ward, Mike, Sammy, Amanda, Ashley, Diana, Stevie, Andrea, Chris, Lindsey, Sara, Justin Wilson and Sean and his greatgrandchildren, Taylor, Reagan, Hailey, Noah, Trinity, Daniel, and Aaron, Jr.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lynette parents, Albert and Bernice Naegele brothers, Glenn and Loren Naegele and daughterinlaw, Mary Naegele.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Brian Dolezal, Ben Marshall, Chris Lopez, Aaron Chenault, Michael Naegele, and Justin Ward.
