Dorothy Mason

Funeral services for Dorothy Louise Mason will be held Monday, December 17, 2:00 pm at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home, with Pastor Zach Souter officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. She will be in state on Sunday, December 16, from 2-5 pm and Monday, 8 am until service time.
Mrs. Mason was born on August 25, 1922 at South Bennett Community in Mills County, Texas to John Sckuyler and Mattie Estell Kuykendall. She passed away December 12, 2018 at the age of 96 years.
She married her beloved Leroy Mason on September 23, 1941 in Goldthwaite, Texas.
Survivors include two daughters, Kaaren Berry and husband, Jerald and Sue Herring and husband, Tommy; one son, Roy Don Mason and wife, Laury; five grandchildren: Raymond Berry, Darrell Berry, Taisha Herring, Toby Herring and Zachary Mason; four great-grandchildren, Todd Berry, Shaun Berry, Destre (Berry) Crawford and Jake Berry; and two great-great- grandchildren, Romy Crawford and Keegan Berry.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and eight sisters; also, her beloved husband, Leroy and one grandson, Jimmy Don Berry and one great grandson Jason Berry
