Dorothy Braswell

Mrs. Braswell, 70, died Saturday, May 5, 2007, at her home in Hobbs, N.M. She was born Aug. 4, 1936, in Electra, Texas.

She married Don Eggleston, the love of her life, on May 26, 1954, in Carlsbad. N.M. He preshy;ceded her in death on July 20, 1984.

She married Mac Braswell on Feb. 25, 1988, in Denver City, Texas. He preceded her in death on July 26, 2002.

Mrs. Braswell was a member of Taylor Street Church of Christ. She loved God and was the matriarch of the family. Dottie was a member of the Eastern Star, Dancin' Grannies and served as a Pink Lady.

Survivors include a son, Doyle Eggleston and wife Kelly of Hobbs, N.M.; a daughter, Debbie Gray and husband Joe of Hobbs, N.M.; three brothers, Earl Pharis of Dalhart, Texas, Mel Pharis of Trophy Club, Texas, and Don Paris, of Vernon, Texas; three sisters, Joyce Tolbert of Odessa, Texas, Glenda White of Seagraves, Texas, and Nancy Barati of Conroe, Texas; two grandsons, Chris and Wesley Gray of Hobbs, N.M., and Matt Eggleston of Hobbs., N.M.; a granddaughshy;ter, Lisa Smith of Sinclair, Wyo.; and six great-grandshy;children.

Dottie was preceded in death by her parents and two husshy;bands.
