Doris Cox

Doris Elizabeth Cox was born on November 1st, 1931 to Minnie D and Nathaniel Lee Holland, in Waldron, Arkansas. She passed from this life at her home of 59 years, on December 18th, 2016. She married Arthur Willie Cox on January 8th, 1949. They had 67 years, 11 months, and 10 days of a very blessed marriage.

She is survived in life by her husband, Willie Cox, and five children; Amos Cox (and wife Glenda) of Hobbs, NM; Mildred Smiley (and husband James) of Eunice, NM; Joyce Anderson of Pauls Valley, OK; Arthur Wayne Cox (and wife Carla) of Eunice, NM; Carla McNeil (and husband Michael) of Eunice, NM: a sister, Florence Shaffer (and husband Jack) of Pryor, OK; and a brother, Wayne Holland (and wife Judy) of Kingsburg, California. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren Shane Brister, Norman Smiley, Kristy Conley, Chester Anderson, Keith Anderson, Abigail Weeks, Sarah Reed, Anna Wilcher, Ben Anderson, Jarod Cox, Ryan Cox, Derek Cox, Jacob Perryman, Melodie Kosiba, Jessica Hall, and Aaron McNeil. She is also survived by 43 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren along with a host of friends.

She is proceeded in death by both parents, two infants; Elizabeth Ann and Joel Ray; a brother, Worth Holland, and a son-in-law Richard Anderson.
