Doris Adams

Doris Jean Adams MiMi 83, passed away July 31, 2013 comfortably at home surrounded by her family. Doris was born October 15, 1929 to Clayton and Eloise Baker in Floris, Oklahoma.

Doris was a wonderful wife, mom and awesome MiMi. She always put her family first. She married Tommie Adams on April 11, 1929 in Perryton, Texas.

Doris is survived by Sharon Fair and husband Billy, Dorothy Newland and husband Danny and granddaughter Jennifer Fair, grandson Bobbie Newland and wife Brandi great grandson Myles Newland, and Aiden Buchanan and great granddaughter Olivia Buchanan, brother Everett Baker Thelda of Liberal, Kansas sisters, Evelyn Miller and Betty Olgesby Jack of Liberal, Kansas, numerous nieces and nephews and longtime special friend Lilly Hines. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. There will be no public viewing.

Services are under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.
