Dora Rogers

Funeral services for Ann Rogers, 82 of Hobbs, will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at Chapel of Hope officiated by Pastor Dale Shook. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 9 and Tuesday 9:00 a.m. until service time at Chapel of Hope. Ann died April 6, 2012, at Lea Regional. She was born March 25, 1930, in Elgin, TX, to Richard and Margaret Thompson. She married Alfred Sonny Rogers July 29, 1970, in Hobbs.

Ann was a very talented seamstress and made bridal dresses.

She is survived by her husband, Sonny of Hobbs her children, Jean Ables, and husband Billy of Hobbs, Johnny Parker, and wife Sheila, of Hobbs and Gina Oaks of Arizona fifteen grandchildren, numerous greatgrandchildren and one greatgreatgranddaughter and a sister, Nellie Rockenbaugh of Palacios, TX.

Preceding her in death was a son, Joe Robert Parker daughters, Sande Kay DeMoore and JoAnn Parker five brothers and two sisters.
