Donna Santa

October 14, 1935 — April 8, 2012

Donna Jean Bishop Santa was born October 14, 1935, in Pikeville, KY, to Orpah and Floyd Bishop. She was the youngest of nine brothers and sisters. She moved to Detroit MI, and married Abraham Santa. They had two children, Timothy and Tina. They moved to Long Beach, CA, in 1968, where they lived most of their lives. Donna and Tim moved to Hobbs in 2006 to be with her granddaughter and grandchildren. Many other family members followed and prospered.

She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and greatgrandmother, aunt and friend. No person, whether family or friend, ever came into her house and wasnt asked, Are you hungry Whether you were or not, you ate. Donna Jean was the most loving, caring woman that ever walked the face of this earth, never judging. Look up unconditional love in the dictionary and Donna Jeans picture should be there. If anyone deserves a pass into the heavenly gates, its her. She will forever be missed every day.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Tina, and boyfriend Earl son, Timothy, and wife Susan granddaughter, Tagan, and husband Wade and their children, all of Hobbs grandson, Nicholas and wife Rouchelle, and their children, Halie, Austin and Breanne, all of Lovington and a grandson, Conner, of Hemet, CA.

A memorial service will be held at St. Christophers Episcopal Church, 207 Permian, on the corner of Permian and Fowler, on April 12, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. A celebration of her life will be held at the Eagles Lodge directly after the service.
