A memorial service for Donald Wales of Hobbs, N.M., will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 27, 2008, at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home. Pastor Ronald Wales, brother of Donald, will officishy;ate.
Cremation will take place. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funshy;eral Home. Mr. Wales, 68, died March 23, 2008, at Lea Regional Medical Ceshy;nter. He was born July 14, 1939, in Pensacola, Fla.
Donald had lived in Hobbs, N.M., for 23 years. He worked installing flooring for several companies in Hobbs. Donald enjoyed cooking, fishing and gardening. He was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Rita Wales of Hobbs, N.M.; three daughters; two stepshy;daughters; two brothers; two sisters; and numerous grandshy;children.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to First National Bank, 1220 W. Joe Harvey, Hobbs, NM 88240 for the Donald Wales Memorial Fund.
