Don was an excellent provider and devoted family man. He enjoyed boating and taking fishing trips with his family and spending time on beautiful lakes. He enjoyed watching his family have fun and a good time.
He liked studying history, war stories, and in later years studying the Bible. His favorite movies and television shows were westerns and war stories.
Don enjoyed a good football game. The Dallas Cowboys remained his favorite team. He also enjoyed some of the Baseball games and always liked to watch the Olympics.
He was a true craftsman and took pride in his home. He built onto it and added a few furniture pieces that will last for many years. He liked to be outside in his yard and water the lawn and many trees.
Later in life, Don built a strong faith in Jesus Christ and spent much of his time in Bible study. He enjoyed attending Temple Baptist Church with his family.
