Delmer Marchington

Funeral services for Del Marchington, 74, of Hobbs, will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at Chapel of Hope officiated by Pastor Ty Bean. Visitation will be 11 a.m. 7 p. m. Tuesday at Chapel of Hope and 8 a.m. until service time on Wednesday. Interment will be after services at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Del died November 16, 2012, in Hobbs. He was born April 20, 1938, in Greendale, Michigan, to Wilbur and LaDonna Marchington. Del married Clara Mae Allen April 18, 1978, in Lovington, NM.

Del was employed by D A S for 20 years, Star Tool for 20 years and Reeco for over 8 years. He was a member of the 2084 Moose Lodge and a past governor of the Moose Legion. Del loved anything to do with cars, racing or fixing them. He enjoyed hunting and motorcycles. Family time was special for him.

Surviving Del is his wife, Clara of Hobbs 3 sons, Rick Marchington, and wife Janine, of Beaverton, MI, Bryce Marchington, and wife Julie, of Hobbs, Kristian Marchington of Hobbs a daughter, Alisha Busby, and husband Chris, of Hobbs a brother, Richard Storms of Coleman, MI 2 sisters, Carroll Steinbacher of Sanford MI, and Kathy Boos of Harrison, MI 8 grandchildren, Bradley Twilley, Lettie Baker, Chance and Cameron Busby, Kalie and Kyler Marchington, and Kayle and Justin Marchington numerous relatives from MI, WA state, MT and England special caregiver and friend, Anne Naverette and special friend, Terry Stane.

Preceding him in death was a daughter, Kelly Renee Marchington.
