Dell Williams

A funeral service for Dell Williams of Hobbs will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 5, 2010.

Pastor Mike Kennedy will officiate. Burial will follow after services at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday 8 a.m. 6 p.m. until service time at Chapel of Hope, which is in charge of arrangements.

Williams, 84, died February 27, 2010, at her home in Hobbs. She was born December 29, 1925, in Tracy, California.

Del met and married Leo Williams in California in 1945. They lived in Tracy, California, Hobbs, Lovington, and Longview, Texas. Dell moved back to Hobbs in 2006.

Survivors include sons Richard Williams of Hobbs and Michael Williams of Houston, Texas daughter Laura Bluminshein of Honolulu, Hawaii sisters Delores Irby of Atwater, California, Ina Campbell of Tracy, California, and Arlene Nunn of Scotts Valley, California grandsons Health Williams of Hobbs, Sage Williams of Hobbs and Seth Bluminshein of Honolulu granddaughters Camille Lilly of Brownsville, Texas and Myklyn Williams of Houston, Texas greatgrandchildren Cameron Lilly of Cloquet, Minnesota, Hagen Williams of Hobbs, and Chloe Williams of Hobbs.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Williams son Daniel Williams mother Bonita Zaragoza sisters Em Acosta and Rachel Freitas and brothers Frank Zaragoza, Manuel Zaragoza and Mike Rodriquez.
