Delia Ramirez

Delia (Gonzales) Ramirez 77, of Hobbs, NM passed away December 8, 2021. Delia was born May 22 1944, in Malaga, NM to David and Felipa Gonzales. She graduated high school in Carlsbad, NM in 1963 and married Bill Ramirez on July 13, 1974.

Delia enjoyed spending time with family and loved them dearly. She especially enjoyed supporting her nieces and nephews for any occasion and loved each one of them unconditionally. She also enjoyed decorating for all holidays and was an active member of  St. Helena’s Catholic Church in Hobbs NM. Delia will be greatly missed and will always be remembered as the sweet, soft hearted sister and auntie that she was.

Those left to cherish her precious memory is the love of her life Bill Ramirez, brothers Rodolpho (Dorothy) Gonzales, Daniel (Martha) Gonzales, sisters Virginia Dutchover, Louisa Herrera, Olivia (Leonard) Salcido, brother-in-law Danny (Rachel) Ramirez, sister-in-law Rosemary (Ben) Diaz and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, niece Janel Gonzales, brothers-in-law Leo Ramirez, Fidel Dutchover, and Carlos Herrera, and great niece Megan Boydston.
