Debbie Francis French, 56, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas. It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the loss of Debbie, a beloved member of our community. Born on April 25, 1967, in San Angelo, Texas, she moved to Hobbs at a young age, where she built a beautiful life.
On April 17, 1984, Debbie married Chris French I, her high school sweetheart. Their love story endured for 39 years, and their bond was truly unbreakable. Debbie was the pillar of strength for our family, always there to support and encourage us. She found immense joy in watching and attending every sporting event her boys participated in, cherishing those precious moments spent together.
For three decades, Debbie dedicated herself to a fulfilling career in the retail and convenience industry. Through her hard work and determination, she formed lasting friendships and earned the respect of her colleagues. Her presence will be deeply missed.
From a young age, Debbie found solace and hope in her faith. She embraced the Lord as her savior, and her love for Him was evident in her passion for singing and playing the tambourine. Debbie's spiritual journey was a source of inspiration for all who knew her.
During her high school years at Hobbs School, Debbie was an active member of the band and cheerleading squad. She brought her vibrant energy and enthusiasm to every performance, leaving a lasting impact on those around her.
Debbie leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her devoted spouse, Chris French I, her two sons, Chris French II and Jeremy French, and her two beloved grandchildren, Jazlyn Renee French and Christopher Jett French. Her daughter-in-law, Julia French, also holds a special place in her heart.
In addition to her immediate family, Debbie is survived by her father, Joe D. Hernandez, and a multitude of other cherished relatives, including sisters, nieces, and nephews. Her warm spirit and kindness touched the lives of many, and she leaves behind a network of friends who will forever cherish her memory.
