Dawn Elizabeth Dyer

Dawn Elizabeth Dyer, age 62, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023, in Hobbs, New Mexico after a fifteen-month long health battle. Dawn was born on August 27, 1961, in Eunice, New Mexico to Jerry and Donnalee White. After Dawn graduated from Corona High School in 1980, she spent her entire adult life in Eunice and Hobbs, New Mexico. She married the love of her life, Kelley Dyer, on January 10, 1994, and they would have celebrated 30 years this coming January. She went on to have one daughter, Maranda Dawn Dyer and four grandchildren – Chance, Elizabeth, Daniel and Mary. Dawn devoted 22 years to Watson Truck & Supply.

Dawn was an avid golfer and played softball well into her forties.  She loved the outdoors and spent many afternoons on the back porch. She enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren swim and play in the backyard. Her greatest blessings knew her as Mops!

Dawn was preceded in death by her mother, Donnalee White. Dawn is survived by her husband Kelley Dyer; father, Jerry White; brother Walter White (Brenda); sister Jerrie Ramirez; daughter Maranda Dyer, nieces Heather Michell and Christin Donaldson (Sean); nephews Harold, Kevin and Steven White and many grand and great-grand nieces and nephews. She is dearly loved and will be missed tremendously.
