David Michael Navarrette, 62, was called home to Heaven on September 5th, 2024. David was the husband to Jerri, and they shared seventeen full years together. Born in Artesia, New Mexico, he was the son of Sam and Carolyn Navarrette. He attended Hobbs High School and graduated in 1980. David went straight into the electrical field after graduation, and eventually became the co-owner of D&C Electric with his partner, Charlie Grajiola. David lived his life to the fullest and enjoyed hunting, traveling with his wife, spending time with his children and grandchildren, watching Yankee’s baseball games, and watching NASCAR on Sunday’s. David will be remembered by his generosity, his humor, with a hint of sarcasm, and his love for the outdoors and life. He is survived by his wife Jerri, his daughters Nicole, Alyssa and Carly, and his grandkids Cayden, Mallory, Micah, Aria, Alani, Luca, Kyran and Salem. He is also survived by his parents, Sam and Carolyn, and his seven siblings. David’s life motto was, “Tomorrow is not promised, live your life to the fullest but not reckless,” and that is exactly how he lived his life.
