Daniel Garcia

Daniel Ray Garcia, 16, was born May 17, 1998 to Daniel Garcia and Judy Ann Garcia.
He passed away May 30, 2014 in Lubbock, Texas. Daniel loved being around his
family, playing with his brothers and sister. He loved to barbque. Daniel gave big
tight hugs. He loved sports. He always had to be dressed up in different outfits
throughout the day. He loved his friends. Daniel loved his grandparents, uncles,
mom, dad, stepdad, and brothers, sisters and nieces.

Daniel is survived by his mom Judy Ann and stepdad Tony Garcia, dad Daniel
Garcia, sister Demari Dynai Gonzales, brother Mario Jr. Chavarria, brother Joseph
Jordan Garcia, stepbrother Isaiah Garcia, stepbrother Dominic Garcia, grandma
Oralia Medina, grandpa Andrew M. Valencia, uncle Andrew Jr Medina, aunt Melissa
Medina, grandma Nelly Garcia, uncles Alex Garcia of San Angelo, Texas, Abel
Garcia, Cesar Garcia, and David Garcia, and nieces Kaylei Brooke Medina and
Kaylee Garcia, all of Hobbs.

Daniel was preceded in death by his grandpa Daniel Garcia, Sr and uncle Joseph
Garcia.

Visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Chapel of Hope Funeral
Home, with a gathering scheduled from 6:00 to 8:00 pm that evening. A funeral
service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2014 at Bethel Assembly of God,
officiated by Pastor Dean Shropshire. Interment will follow at Prairie Haven
Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to Crosswinds Community Church, Choose
Life Church, or Bethel Assembly of God.
