Daniel Farris

Memorial services will be held for Daniel P. Farris, 53 of Hobbs, 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2012, at St. Pauls Methodist Church with Pastor Calvin Hill presiding. Daniel died May 19, 2012, at his home in Hobbs. He was born July 18, 1958, in Munich, Germany.

Daniel was a responsible, hard worker. He worked for ZK Express as a technician. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, and laughing and joking with family and friends. He never met a stranger.

He is survived by his daughter, Tamra Farris, and fianc AJ Gonzalez, both of Corpus Christi, TX his father, Ansel Farris of Hobbs a twin sister, Diana Davis, and Mike Turner, of Hobbs aunts and uncles, Adelee Brice, Susie Robert, Paul Farris, and Werner Linnek and wife Sigrid nieces, Shannon Flowers, and husband Russell, of Hobbs, Marinda Davis, and James Laws, of Hobbs his great nephews, Austyn and Claytyn Kidd of Hobbs and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death was his mother, Ulla Farris and his brother, Tommy Farris.

Service
