Dana Nichole Rhoades of Monument, New Mexico, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2008, at First United Methodist Church with Pastor Brian Hurst officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.

Dana, 15, died October 24, 2008, in Hobbs, New Mexico. She was born November 29, 1992, in Hobbs, New Mexico.
Dana was always happy and laughing. She loved to do crazy things to make people laugh. She loved riding 4-wheelers. Dana especially loved band and shy;she profiled herself as a Bandnerd. She loved all of her band teachers: Mr. Duskie, Mr. Raue, Mr. Crow and espeshy;cially Mr. Chaney. She loved slumber parties with her friends and hanging out with them. Dana was a multi-tasker at texting and talking on her cell phone.
She attended Bethel Assembly of God.
Survivors include her parshy;ents, Keith and Tammy Hughes of Monument, New Mexico; her dad, Johnny Rhoades of Weatherford, Texas; a brother, Riley Rhoades of Monument, New Mexico; her cousin-brother, Dominic Reid of Monument, New Mexico; her grandparents, Randy and Vickie Reid of Hobbs, New Mexico, Bobby and Helen Bittle of Carlsbad, New Mexico, Larry Hughes of Monument, New Mexico; Don and Nelda Gage of Lewisville, Texas, and Johnny and Kathy Rhoades of Hobbs, New Mexico; her great-grandmothers, Barbara Reid of Hobbs, New Mexico; Ova Lea Hughes of Monument, New Mexico, and Kathy Rhoades of Weatherford, Texas; her uncles and aunts, Randy and Angela Reid of Hobbs, New Mexico, Chris and Twyla Bryant of Hobbs, New Mexico, and Sheila Rhodes of Fort Worth, Texas; her second mom, Donna Henderson of Weatherford, Texas; and numerous cousins. Dana is also survived by her friends Nolan Bates, Chelsea Baron, Tevan Lyles, Heather Mendoza, Ashlyn and Brittnay Harms, Alysha Mayfield, Jolie Baldwin, Devan Wall, Brittnay Hughes, Monica Powell-Ryburn and her moo-moo, Myranda Tarin.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandfathers, Henry Reid, John Rhoades and A. B. Carroll; and her great-grandparents Billy and Frances Hill.
