alignjustifyMr. Epperson, 76, died March 5, 2009, at his home in Hobbs. He was born June 25, 1932, in Bromide, Oklahoma. He married Jelene Hammond on December 21, 1957, in Roswell, New Mexico.
alignjustifyJack was a veteran of the Korean War. He served in the U.S. Army. He and his wife moved to Hobbs, New Mexico, in 1955. Jack worked for Unichem over 30 years. He was a member of Castle Avenue Baptist Church.
alignjustifySurvivors include his wife of 51 years, Jelene Epperson of Hobbs, New Mexico; a brother, George Epperson and wife JoAnn of Hobbs, New Mexico; three sisters, Lillian Venable and husband Raymond of Oklahoma City; Oklahoma, Lorene Pope of Medford, Oregon, and Lee Neufeldt and husband Vic of Medford, Oregon; a sister-in-law, Shirley Switzer and husband C.H. of Hobbs, New Mexico; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
alignjustifyHe was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters 3.
