Clarence Ball

January 30, 1948 — April 17, 2015

Clarence L. Ball, 67, of Hobbs, NM passed away peacefully, Friday, April 17, 2015 in Lubbock, Tx following a short illness.

Services will be at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home April 21, 2015 at 2:00 followed by burial at Prairie Haven Cemetery. Viewing will be available on April 21st from 8 a.m. until service time. Elio Barrios will be officiating.

Clarence was born in Borger, Tx on January 30, 1948 to Clarence and Dorothy Ball. He worked in the oilfield for 45 years. He retired from Cardinal Surveys in June 2014.
He was a wonderful husband, father, and friend. He loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren. He collected all the model cars he could find and he had a great love for Ford Mustangs.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Linda, a son Steven and his wife Amy, A daughter, Melinda and her husband Carlos, and five grandchildren, Carlos Jr. Andrew, Nicholas, Lilliana, and Eloise.
He is also survived by his sister, Lee Gillis and her husband Bill of Pampa, Tx. A brother Charlie and sister Debbie, A brother and sister in law, Bettie and Eddie Hawkins, of Hobbs, and three sister in laws, Berniece Hawkins and Betty Hawkins of Hobbs, and Cathy Hawkins of Artesia.

He will be very sorely missed, but we will always keep his memory with us.
