Cindy Robinson

February 15, 1953 — August 27, 2016

Cindy Lou Neal Robinson of Hobbs passed away on August 27, 2016. Cindy was born February 15, 1953 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. She graduated from Hobbs High School in 1971 and married Ken Robinson on August 25, 1972. They lived in Weatherford, Oklahoma (where Ken attended college), Lovington, and Albuquerque before moving back to Hobbs in 1981, when the Robinson family assumed ownership of Norte Vista Pharmacy. Cindy became a certified pharmacy technician and worked at the pharmacy for over 30 years.

Ken and Cindy are longtime members of Taylor Memorial Baptist Church, where she taught preschool Sunday school for many years. She enjoyed sewing and cooking, particularly baking pies, cookies, and cakes which were widely renowned. She never missed an opportunity to spend time with her family, often being the center of attention due to her great sense of humor. Recently she had become a proud member of the Friends of the Hobbs Public Library, an organization close to her heart.

Cindy is survived by her husband Ken; sister Candice Robinson and husband Don; brother Michael Neal and wife Margaret; sister Sherry Krause and husband Ron; children Kyle and Marney; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat Midas.
