Christopher N. Sjodin, 38, of Eunice, NM passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021. A native of Pensacola, FL he grew up in Lawrenceville, GA, returning to Pensacola before moving to NM.

Chris was a talented athlete in his youth and attending his baseball and football games was a source of pride and joy for his family. He was a free spirit with a fun-loving sense of humor and enjoyed working with his hands in residential remodels and landscaping. Chris cherished his children and was a caring and devoted father.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Gary and Mary Thompson; paternal grandfather, Clifford Sjodin; aunt Judy and uncles Michael and Joey Thompson. Chris is survived by his children Noah Bryars-Sjodin and Laila Sjodin; partner, Gina Jones; parents Len and Kathie Sjodin; brothers Jacob (Andrea) Sjodin and Garry Sjodin; nephew and niece Jacob and Penelope Sjodin; paternal grandmother, Phyllis Sjodin; uncles Norman (Kathy) and John Sjodin, aunts Teresa (Randy) Creary, Karin (Bill) Reece, Nadine Scharinger, Sonya (Fleming) Smith, great uncle John (Peggy) Boa; and a host of loving cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held in Pensacola, FL at Pensacola Memorial Gardens, 7433 Pine Forest Rd. on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 1:30 pm CT.
