A memorial service for Charles Alfred Ford of Hobbs will be Friday, May 28, 2010, at 3 p.m. at Full Gospel Assembly, 3524 W. Carlsbad Highway. Benny Greenlee and Herman Lowe will officiate.

Cremation will take place.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. 5 p.m. Thursday, May 27, at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

Ford 35, died May 21, 2010, in Hobbs. He was born March 5, 1975, in Lubbock, Texas. He married Katherine Michelle Ford on August 29, 2009, in Hobbs.

Alberts joy in life was softball. He played with the Falcons and was a member of the FFA. He loved rodeoing. He was good at tearing cars up or whatever he could get his hands on. He loved ice cream. He loved spending time with his family. His favorite teams were the Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys. He was a graduate of Opportunity House. He was a member of Full Gospel Assembly, 3524 W. Carlsbad Highway.

Survivors include his wife, Michelle Ford of Hobbs two daughters, Keeli Ford of Hobbs and Lacey Jones of Hobbs son Tyler Jones of Hobbs sister Dame Loftin brotherinlaw Arthur Loftin numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and very close adopted brothers and sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents Chellie and Mary Ford his paternal grandparents Charles and Willie Ford and maternal grandparents Albert and Mona DeBusk.
