Chang-Hwan Kang (Tommy, 81) was born Dec 6, 1937 in Korea. He passed away in Hobbs on March 27, 2019. He came to Hobbs in 1973 and was helped by the late James Murray III and Judge Don Maddox to get established. He was known to be very friendly, helpful, and kind. Everyone who came in contact with him always thought of him as reliable, honorable, and trustworthy. His passion in life was hunting. He was full of spirit, always on the go, and through his love of outdoor activities, he made so many friends that lasted a lifetime. He is survived by his son, Kiman Kang of Hawaii; a grandson, Simeon Kang of Hobbs; and granddaughter, Esther Kang of California.
