Carol Galenbeck

Carol Jean Galenbeck, 71, was born July 14, 1944 in Honeygrove, TX. She passed away July 1, 2016 in Hobbs, NM.

Carol married Dave Galenbeck in Clovis, NM on October 26, 1959. She was a member of Taylor Street Church of Christ, Lea County Art Association, Llano Estacado Art Association. She was a magnificent, well know artist and was published in three magazines. She received an award from the Governor of New Mexico for her contribution to the arts. She demonstrated art for young children at Agnes Castor Head Senior Center. She was a wonderful homemaker, loved music and family.

She is survived by her husband, Dave Galenbeck; one son, David Galenbeck, Jr. (Michelle) of Abilene, TX; two daughters, Diana "Sam" Glover of Corpus Christy, TX and Fran Stephens (Brian) of Denver City, TX; brother, David Taylor and Linda of Pagosa Springs, CO; grandchildren, James Paul Glover, Allison Galenbeck, Nick Derry, Derek Stephens (Taylor), Haley Stephens; great-grandchildren, Grayson Stephens, Morgan Stephens, Rowan Stephens, Crew Stephens, and Zeppelin Stephens; and numerous nieces and nephews.
