Carlota Huffman

A memorial service for Carlota Huffman of Hobbs will be 5 p.m. Sunday, July 25, 2010, at Templo Horeb, 1615 E. Byers.

Cremation will take place. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.

Huffman, 82, died July 22, 2010, in her home in Hobbs. She was born October 6, 1927, in Xilitla, Mexico.

She had lived in Hobbs since the late 1950s. She worked a fruit stand on Dal Paso and cleaned homes. She had a big heart and helped many people. She was a member of Templo Horeb.

Survivors include her daughter, Christina Huffman of Hobbs and stepgranddaughter, Adrianne Sloman of Hartford, Connecticut.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and four brothers.
