Carlos H. Campos passed away unexpectedly at his home on August 30, 2016. Carlos was born on May 10, 1939 to his parents Benito and Paula Campos, in Santa Rosa, NM.
He grew up ranching in New Mexico with his grandparents and later her married Paula Garza, together they had five children. Carlos moved his family to California where he became an auto mechanic. He then moved his family back to the state of New Mexico that he loved. He attended General Motors training school in San Francisco in 1968, auto mechanics at San Jose City College for four years and worked in Morgan Hill for the Chevrolet dealer for 12 years before going to Watson's. There he pursued his career in auto mechanics at Watson Truck and Supply where he later retired. Carlos hobbies include arrowhead hunting, fishing, and hunting and he attends Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.
Carlos is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, four sisters and son George Campos.
He is survived by his former wife Paula Campos, brother Jimmy Campos, sisters; Nora Silva and Rosie Martinez, three daughters; Janie and husband Sean Renteria, Denise and husband Phillip Hamilton, Frances Navarrette, son; Charles Campos, nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He will be deeply missed by all!
