Canyan Summers

Canyan Summers, 1 year old, was born Oct. 3, 2005, in Hobbs, N.M. He died Jan. 21, 2007, at Lea Regional Medical Center.

Canyan was a very happy baby and amazed everyone with his beautiful blue eyes. He followed his daddy and sisshy;ter, doing whatever he could to be with them. He loved the farm and dancing. He. was known as Bubba Bear, Bubba Boo and Gully Rut. He was a Daddy's boy and truly a gift from God.

Survivors include his parshy;ents, C.J. and Katie Summers of Hobbs, N.M.; a sister, Kenzie Summers of Hobbs, N.M.; his grandparents, Tony and Barbara Summers of Hobbs, N.M., J.E. and Virginia Teague of Hobbs, N.M., and Larry and Mary Duncan of Corpus Christi, Texas; his great-grandparents, Clara Duncan of Corpus Christi, Texas, Marie Morrow of Monument, N.M., Loretta Hardin of Silverton, Texas, and Ruby Krebbs of Hobbs, N.M.; and uncles and aunts, Casey and Nikki Summers of Denver City, Texas, and Chad and Mandy Sayre of Monument, N.M.
