Brennon Zack Smith was born on June 28th, 2004, in Hobbs, New Mexico to Mindee Smith and Preston Smith. He left this earth and gained his wings on September 26, 2023. Brennon is survived by his parents Mindee Smith of Hobbs, N.M, Preston Smith of Midland, Texas, his twin brother Branson Smith of Hobbs, N.M, his girlfriend, Clarissa Valencia of Hobbs, N.M, his sister Allison Smith of Hobbs, N.M, his bonus brother Elijah Doane of Edwards, California, his aunt M’Lisa and husband Mike Baker of Seminole, Texas, his grandparents John and Sandy Smith of Lovington, N.M, his grandmother Karen Wilson of Lovington, N.M, and his uncle Paxton and wife Jennifer Smith of Lubbock, Texas as well as a very large extended family.
Brennon is now in the doting presence of his “Nee and Bop” Danny and Cyndi Seymore of Hobbs, N.M.
Brennon attended and graduated from Hobbs High School in 2022 and was attending New Mexico Junior College. He had a special place in his heart for his immediate family and was known for a strong connection with his mother. He enjoyed working on his truck, hanging out with his beloved girlfriend and friends, and his “son” Benji (his dog). He enjoyed chocolate milk, hot wings, and pestering his twin brother Branson. He could always be counted on to be loud, and sometimes provide us with a good (often inappropriate) laugh. He was fearless, could always be counted upon, and loved with his whole heart.
Brennon is leaving behind a legacy, and would want you to know and remember:
Put God first, keep your circle small, be loyal and trustworthy, stay strong, keep your priorities in check, be yourself, and never give up!
