Funeral services for Brenda Spain will be 10:00 Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at Chapel of Hope officiated by Pastor Elio Barrios. Visitation will be Tuesday 8 a.m. 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at Chapel of Hope which is in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Brenda died November 25, 2011, at her home in Hobbs. She was born December 8, 1954, in Kermit, TX, to Billy and Jackie Kirby. She married Joe Spain November 30, 1981, in Jal, NM.
Brendas favorite thing in life was taking care of her family. She loved her children and family and was very loving to animals. She would take in any stray animal that came her way.
Surviving Brenda is her husband Joe, of Hobbs her parents, Billy Jackie Kirby of Ruidoso, NM a son, Joseph Terrence Spain of Hobbs a daughter, Amy Lynn Bates of Hobbs two brothers, John Kirby and wife Vicki of Houston, TX, and Gary Kirby, and wife Georgia, of Odessa, TX a sister, Sandra McCormick, and husband Randy, of Lovington, NM niece, Kaitlin Gray of Lovington and her nephew, Tyler Gray of Lovington.
