Brenda Reese

Brenda Yvonne Reese was born on February 27, 1951, in Seminole, Texas to Bernice and Leland Brasell. Brenda left this world on January 20, 2010, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She graduated from Hobbs High School in 1969. She attended NMJC and received her nursing degree and began a long nursing career in Hobbs as well as in Tulsa. She was married to Harold Keith Reese, Jr. on June 18, 1970, in Seagraves, Texas.

Brenda was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend to many. Her outgoing personality, go with the flow mentality, infectious laugh and beautiful smile will be greatly missed. She has impacted many lives in one way or another.

She is survived by her mother, Bernice Brasell, her sister, Tonja Griffin, both from Lubbock, Texas three children, Tiffani Martin of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Trey Reese of Fallbrook, California, and Haley Reese of Tulsa, Oklahoma five grandchildren, Reese Martin, Zach Martin, Nellie Reese, Cooper Reese and Jaidyn Forbes and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father Leland Brasell and her grandparents.

Her memorial service will be held at Chapel of Hope in Hobbs at 2:00 p.m. on January 26, 2010. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Clarehouse, 7617 South Mingo Road, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74133.

Services are under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.
