Brenda Murphy

Brenda Murphy was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 10, 1962 to Fred and Anna Lee Murphy and passed away in Hobbs, New Mexico on October 6, 2019.  Cremation has taken place. Growing up in Laredo, Texas, Brenda was a star athlete and excelled in volleyball. As an adult, Brenda traveled several places before settling in Hobbs. As an accountant, Brenda worked for Carol’s Accounting Services and Extreme Services, LLC in Lovington, NM.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived at home by her longtime friend and roommate, JoLeene Boguslawski and her four-legged friends, Daisy, Jasmine, Betsy, Edward and Mr. White. She is also survived by four siblings; Teresa Murphy, Pam Garza (Ruben), Christina Selesky (Joe), Pete King and many nieces and nephews.

Brenda enjoyed singing old songs, watching movies and loving on the pets.
