Funeral services for Bradley Brad Atchison of Hobbs, N.M. will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2008, at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 13, from 3-6 p.m. at Chapel of Hope funshy;eral Home to whom servshy;ices have been entrshy;usted. Atchison, 29, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. He was born Dec. 14, 1978, in Hattiesburg, Miss. He married Teresa Atchison.

He was a graduate of Pearl High School in Pearl, Miss., where he earned the title of state pole vault champion in 1996. He was a resident of Hobbs, N.M., where he was employed as a cementer with Halliburton.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa; one son, Xzayvier; two stepdaughters, Mariah and Monique; parents, Walter Atchison of Beaverton, Ore., and Mitzie Bill Nichols of Foley, Ala.; one sister, Athena Atchison; two nieces; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
