Bonnie Reese

Funeral services for Bonnie Dean Biggs Reese, 79, of Hobbs will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 16, 2010, at First Christian Church.

Mr. Dennis Glasgow will officiate. Burial will follow after services at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 15, from 11 a.m. 8 p.m. at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

Reese died at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas, on July 12, 2010. She was born Novemnber 12, 1930, in Eola, Texas.

She married Clyde Reese in El Dorado, Texas. He died December 28, 1996.

Bonnie loved gardening and flowers. She enjoyed flowers in her home and her yard. She was a published author.

She was an active member of First Christian Church.

Survivors include her sister, Faye Capps of Hobbs grandson Anthony Easley of Seminole, Texas granddaughter, Jessica Sanders of Capitan, New Mexico greatgrandson, Colby Sanders of Capitan, New Mexico, greatgranddaughter, Shane Sanders of Capitan, New Mexico.

Bonnie was preceded in death by husband Clyde Reese, daughter Bonnie Clydean Reese Easley and brother Chester Bud Biggs, Jr.

Memorial contributions may be made to New Mexico Boys Ranch or Baptist Childrens Home.
