Bobbie Wilkins

alignjustifyBobbie Jean Wilkins died peacefully at her home in Hobbs at 10:59 p.m., March 17, 2009.

Cremation has taken place.

alignjustifyShe was a resident of Hobbs New Mexico, for 50 years. She married G.C. Mac McKiddy on February 10, 1945, in Pecos, Texas. They were wed for 64 years. Their children include Camille and husband Bob Wood, deceased, and Simone and husband Art Karger, both of Lovington. Her grandchildren are Shannon and Michele Wood and Scott and Bryce Karger.

alignjustifyBobbie was preceded in death by her father, Rabbit Wilkins of Eunice, New Mexico; her mother, Elsie Gilmore; a brother, Melvin; and two sisters, Dorthy and Patsy.

alignjustifySurvivors include her niece, Cindy, and a nephew, Bruce Wilkins, and cousins Juanita and Bug Wilkins of Odessa.

alignjustifyMany wives of grandchildren and great-grandchildren are not listed but were loved by Bobbie and Mac.

alignjustifyDaughters Camille and Simone have had special, special adoration for the love and care of their mother.
