Billy Baskin

Billie Jean McCord Baskin, 83, of Hobbs, New Mexico, died Monday, January 10, 2011, at home after a long illness.

She was born July 12, 1927, in rural Henderson, Texas, to George B. and Claudia McCord. She married William Baskin on November, 23, 1950.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Claudia, and her husband William Baskin.

She is survived by her sister, Joyce Fenner of Hobbs, New Mexico a niece Nancy Puckett of Cheyenne, Wyoming and a sisterinlaw, Leta Baskin of Dickinson, Texas.

No service or memorial is planned at this time. Interment will take place at Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vista Care Hospice or University of the Southwest.
