Billy Bailey, Jr.

Billy Bailey Jr, known to all that loved him dearly as Rudy Gonzales. Beloved son, brother, uncle and dear friend, passed away to enter the heavenly gates on January 15, 2024. He was born October 29, 1963 in Denver City, Tx to Gonsalo R. Gonzales (Lalo) and Felicita (Hita) Gonzales from Hobbs, N.M. Rudy lived in Hobbs N.M. his whole life surrounded by family. Rudy was a Hobbs High school graduate and attended NMJC in construction. He worked more than half of his life, various jobs but most of his years at Mc Donalds and Curtis Machine. He enjoyed family gatherings with good food, he loved Elvis Presley music and the Dallas Cowboys. Rudy is survived by his parents, Gonsalo and Felicita, sister Antonia Gonzales, brother Carlos Gonzales and sister Sandy Thompson and husband Shannon. Many nieces and nephews, Evon Soliz and husband Emilio, Nick Martinez, Erik Thompson and Joseph Thompson, great nieces and nephews Emilio Jr, Victoria, Jorge, Cecilia, and Andres Soliz. He always knew how to bring a smile to a room full of faces and make their day a bit brighter.

 Along with his outgoing personality, his presence left all who loved him with warm sense of comfort where time stood still. He will forever be missed until the day we meet again.
