Billings Culver

Funeral services for Billings R. Culver, age 85, will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 27, 2012, at Hobbs Trinity Free Holiness Church, 1901 French Dr., Hobbs, NM, officiated by Pastor Johnny Don Lee and Bro. Jon Anderson. Interment will follow at Prairie Haven Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, October 26, 8:00 a.m. 8:00 p.m. at Chapel of Hope. The family will greet friends 6 8 p.m.

Bill died October 24, 2012, in Hobbs. He was born June 3, 1927, in Holliday, TX, to Thomas and Dora Culver. Bill married Jaunell Ruth Splawn on June 5, 1948, in Ft. Worth, TX. He attended Hobbs Trinity Free Holiness Church. By trade he was an automotive and heavy duty diesel mechanic.

Preceding him in death were his parents a brother, Grant Culver and 3 sisters, Essie Kendrick, Lorene Perkins, and Minerva Raper.

Surviving Bill is his wife, Jaunell Culver of Hobbs 4 daughters, Pamela Bradford of Hobbs, Beverly McCalip of Hobbs, Evelyn Smith of Eunice, and Naomi Webb of KY brother, James Culver of TX and sister, Sylvia Darter of TX 15 grandchildren, 34 greatgrandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
