Bill Ensey

Bill Ensey died September 29, 2013 in Lovington, Nor Lea Hospital. He was born in Marlow, Oklahoma, September 20, 1927 to Xenophon and Willie Ann Ensey.
He graduated from high school in Duncan, Oklahoma. Bill enlisted in the Navy at the age of 17 and was getting ready to be shipped out to the Pacific when World War II ended.
Bill married Fran Ensey April 6, 1968 in the First Presbyterian Church in Hobbs, NM. Together they had a daughter, Sheri Schrier. Bill also had two sons Bruce and Craig Williams. As a member of the First Presbyterian Church, he held positions of Elder, Deacon and was on the Board of Trustees .
Bill started working in the oil fields in Oklahoma and was transferred to Lea County, New Mexico where he spent the next 37 years working for Skelly, Getty, Texaco, and Chevron. He enjoyed 23 years of retirement.
Bill is survived by his wife Fran Ensey, 2 sons: Bruce Williams, of Willow Park, Texas. Craig Williams and wife Sharon of Aztec, NM. , daughter, Sheri and husband Scott Schrier of Tampa, Florida, two grandsons Alexander and Max Schrier of Tampa, Florida.
A Memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.
Services under the direction of Chapel of Hope.
