Betty Bell

No services are planned for Betty J. Bell, 84 of Hobbs. Betty died May 18, 2012, at Lea Regional Hospital. She was born January 18, 1928, in Wolco, OK, to Robert and Sarah Fisher. She married Dennis Bell in Elderado, AR. Betty was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church. Cremation will take place.

Betty graduated from the College of the Southwest and became a second grade teacher for the Hobbs School. Betty was a member of the Jubilee Choir. Many thanks to Desert Gardens for their loving care.

Surviving Betty are two brothers, Bobby D. Fisher, and wife Vi, of McKinney, TX, and Billy J. Fisher, and wife Joann, of Grand Saline, TX a sister, Cleta Heath of Gulf Breeze, FL and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Dennis.
