Barbara Carl

Barbara Carl, 79, a longtime resident of Hobbs, New Mexico, passed away January 14, 2014 in Lubbock, Texas. Barbara was born November 9, 1934 in Texarkana, Texas to William and Ruth Teague. Barbara was the first person to arrive at a home if anyone was ill. She liked gadgets of all kinds. She loved her family very much. She loved attending church at Nadine Baptist Church.

Barbara is survived by one brother and his wife, William and Alberta Teague of Richwood, Texas one sister, Billie Magee of Hobbs special friend Leona Call numerous nieces and nephews and a greatgreat niece, Gracie Hunt, of Marshall, Texas.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents her husband Nicholas Carl and two sisters, Bobbie Teague and Leta Goodson.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, January 19th, and from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday, January 20, 2014, at Chapel of Hope. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Prairie Haven Memorial Park Chapel, officiated by Mr. Sid Butler.
