Augustin Zavala

Augustin "Auggie" Zavala Entered into Heaven on February 17th, 2025.Auggie was born in El Paso Texas on June 10th,1959. He moved to Hobbs New Mexico in 1972. Where he continued his education and graduated from Hobbs High. He also attended the College of the Southwest to receive an associate degree in business. Auggie worked at the Hobbs News Sun in advertisement for 15 years. He worked for Care A Van as a driver shortly after for 10 years. He recently worked at Wal-Mart for 17 years.

Auggie was a great man of value and many talents. He was a caring loving man. Willing to lend a helping hand. Auggie was very outgoing. He loved to make everyone smile. Auggie helped raise his nephews and nieces. Auggie will be deeply missed. A void that will never be filled. Auggie was and will always be a great son, brother, uncle and dear friend.

Auggie is preceded in death by his father Julian Zavala and mother Maria De La Luz Saiz. Brothers and sister's in death Phillip Martinez, Ciprano Martinez, Miguel Martinez, Gabby Martinez, and Jose Martinez. Margarita Martinez, Eva Martinez, Carol Rios.

Auggie is survived by his brother's and sister's Javier Zavala of Juarez, México, Rogelio Zavala of Zaragoza, México, Juan Martinez of Clovis, New Mexico, Serapio Martinez of Hobbs, New Mexico, Jesse Zavala of Hobbs, New Mexico, Julian Zavala of Surprise, Arizona. Socorro Garcia Faben of Texas, Augustina Sosa Faben of Texas, Olivia Chacon of El Paso, Texas, Andrea Mendoza of El Paso, Texas, Socorro Martinez of Hobbs, New Mexico, Esperanza Gonsalez Hobbs New Mexico along with numerous nephews and nieces.
